my sweet family
My Man. The love of my life. My best friend.
He loves God, loves me, loves our babies. He provides for our family and likes that I stay home. He’s crazy smart and that can drive me crazy because he is hardly ever wrong no matter how much I try to convince him of things. He has beautiful blue eyes. I give him a hard time about being a big nerd, but as it turns out, I love nerds and they grow up to be the best husbands. We met when I was 15 and he was 18, and we tied the knot 4 years later. It’s been a great adventure, and I can say without a shadow of doubt there is no one else I’d rather have by my side.
Speaking of adventure…
Meet Connor, our firstborn son.
He’s six years old, and if I had to pick one word to describe him, it would be spirited. Everything he does, both good and bad, he does with great passion and intensity. He is the most creative kid I know, and he is one smart cookie, just like his daddy. He definitely has a flair for the dramatic, although I doubt you will ever find him on a stage. He’s not afraid to do his own thing, and I love that about him.
This is Logan, our second son.
He is 4 years old, and if I had to choose one word to describe him, it would be fun. He cracks me up every single day, and is just plain fun to have around. When I was pregnant with him, I remember noticing that he never stopped kicking. Well, that is still true today. He is full speed ahead 100% of the time. He is outgoing, spunky, and joyful. And I dare you to resist that smile and those lips!
And, finally, this is Camryn, our baby girl.
She is our Little Miss Sunshine. She has brought our family such joy and happiness over the last year. I’ve always wanted to have a daughter, and I still sometimes marvel at the fact that she is mine. She loves her brothers and her daddy so much, and nothing makes me happier than seeing her love on all the boys in our family. She is happy unless she gets left in a room alone. She is a little social butterfly already. (But don’t try to take her out of our arms before she is ready, or you will get an earful!)
We also have a cat. His name is Dallas, and we picked him up as a free kitten on a whim just a month before Connor was born. He’s a huge, fat cat, and as much as he drives me crazy, he’s still a part of the family.
I love my family.

What a great description of our family!
